Basketball Recap: Nicolet Takes a Loss

Nicolet was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were outmatched by the Cedarburg Bulldogs and fell 86-55. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 286th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 58th).

Nicolet's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Cedarburg, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.

Nicolet will take on West Bend East in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Cedarburg and West Bend West will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
