Volleyball Recap: West Florence Takes a Loss + How To Watch

West Florence was the 2-0 winner over Hartsville when they last played one another back in August, but their luck changed this time around. The Knights took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Red Foxes on Monday.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-15, 22-25, 25-22.

Despite the defeat, West Florence saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Ansley White had 14 digs and two assists.

Ava Wilcox had an outrageously good game for Hartsville as she had 21 digs and four aces. The dominant performance also gave Wilcox a new career-high in assists (seven).

West Florence's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Hartsville, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 20-9.

West Florence wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Westwood on the 14th. As for Hartsville, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Lakewood on the 14th.
