Baseball Recap: Glide's Luck Changes for the Better on Tuesday

Glide came out on top against Siuslaw on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run second inning. The Wildcats walked away with an 8-5 win over the Vikings. The victory was some much needed relief for the Wildcats as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Glide's win bumped their record up to 11-8. As for Siuslaw, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 11 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season.

Glide will face off against Mapleton/Siuslaw at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Siuslaw will be paying especially close attention to the Wildcats' contest: after the Wildcats face off against the Sailors, they'll take on Siuslaw again at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
