Basketball Recap: Columbian's Luck Changes for the Better on Tuesday

Columbian came into Tuesday's game having lost six straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Huron Tigers on Tuesday, sneaking past 47-45. The Tornadoes have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tigers, too.

Columbian's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Huron, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Columbian will face off against Genoa Area at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Huron, they will square off against Port Clinton at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Huron is facing Port Clinton at the right time seeing as Port Clinton is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
