After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Foothills Christian, Maranatha Christian was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They came out on top against the La Jolla Country Day Torreys by a score of 9-4. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Torreys recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Hannah Visser made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off eight hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.
