After losing to Trinity the last time they met, Southeast Guilford decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Falcons put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp 3-0 win on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Falcons.
The victory didn't come easy: Trinity scored at least 18 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 26-24, 25-23.
Despite the loss, Trinity had strong showings from Avalynn Johnson, who had 20 assists, and Charlee Phillips, who had nine digs and three assists. Johnson has been hot for a while, having posted 14 or more assists the last 27 times she's played.
