Baseball Game Preview: Diamond Hill-Jarvis Eagles vs. Castleberry Lions

For the second straight game, Diamond Hill-Jarvis will face off against Castleberry. The Eagles will square off against the Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Diamond Hill-Jarvis is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.2 runs per game this season.

Diamond Hill-Jarvis heads in on the heels of a playoff contest on Thursday. They fell 11-8 to Castleberry. The Eagles' loss signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

For Castleberry's part, Cayden Perez and Samuel Williams did most of the damage at the plate: Perez went 2-for-5 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI, while Williams went 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most runs Perez has posted since back in February.

Diamond Hill-Jarvis' defeat dropped their record down to 12-12-1. As for Castleberry, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 18-8-1.
