Baseball Game Preview: Norcom Greyhounds vs. Phoebus Phantoms

The Norcom Greyhounds will head out to square off against the Phoebus Phantoms at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses for Norcom and six for Phoebus.

Norcom lost 13-4 to Manor on Friday.

Norcom saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jaeden Heart, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. Those RBI marked the first that Heart has brought in this season. Another was Tracy Jones, who earned one run and three stolen bases.

Menchville hit Phoebus with a five-run fourth inning on Saturday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Phantoms came up short against the Monarchs, falling 14-0.

Norcom's defeat dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Phoebus, their loss dropped their record down to 3-14.
