The Tripp-Delmont/Armour Nighthawks will be playing in front of their home fans against the Burke Cougars at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in Tripp-Delmont/Armour's favor as the squad sits on 12 straight wins at home while Burke has been banged up by 13 consecutive losses on the road.
Last Tuesday, Tripp-Delmont/Armour earned a 52-45 victory over Centerville.
Meanwhile, things could have been worse for Burke, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 57-40 loss to Boyd County on Thursday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Burke has scored all season.
Tripp-Delmont/Armour's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Burke, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-9.
Tripp-Delmont/Armour strolled past Burke in their previous meeting back in January of 2023 by a score of 46-32. Will Tripp-Delmont/Armour repeat their success, or does Burke have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
