Lakota East is 10-0 against Oak Hills since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Lakota East Thunderhawks will be playing in front of their home fans against the Oak Hills Highlanders at 6:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.

Lakota East will bounce into Friday's game after beating Princeton, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. Lakota East managed a 46-41 victory over Princeton on Saturday.

Meanwhile, a well-balanced attack led Oak Hills over Ursuline Academy in every quarter on their way to victory on Saturday. Oak Hills ended the year with a bang, routing Ursuline Academy 44-19. Given the Highlanders' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 138th, while the Lions are ranked 536th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Lakota East better keep an eye on Ava Kammerer. She was instrumental in Oak Hills' win, going 5 of 9 on her way to 18 points and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Nyla Richardson, who posted 11 points and seven rebounds.

Oak Hills' win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-3. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.0 points per game. As for Lakota East, their victory bumped their record up to 6-4.

Lakota East beat Oak Hills 36-28 in their previous meeting back in November. Will Lakota East repeat their success, or does Oak Hills have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
