Baseball Game Preview: Goffstown Grizzlies vs. Londonderry Lancers

The Goffstown Grizzlies will head out on the road to face off against the Londonderry Lancers at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday. Goffstown is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.

Goffstown is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of New Hampshire's top teams: Windham, who was ranked 22nd at the time (Goffstown was ranked 15th). The Grizzlies lost 13-6 to the Jaguars on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Grizzlies have suffered since May 16, 2025.

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Londonderry and Winnacunnet had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Lancers walked away with a 4-1 victory over the Warriors on Monday. The game was the first time the Lancers have beaten the Warriors on their field since April 13, 2018.

Londonderry's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Goffstown, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3.

Everything went Goffstown's way against Londonderry in their previous meeting back in April of 2025, as Goffstown made off with a 19-7 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Grizzlies since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
