DeSoto County had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. Everything went their way against the Lake Placid Dragons as they made off with a 3-0 win. The game was the first time the Bulldogs have beaten the Dragons on their court since September 15, 2022.

While DeSoto County won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-8, 25-10.

DeSoto County didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Charlotte on the 21st.
