Edmonds-Woodway is 9-1 against Shorecrest since May of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Warriors will be playing in front of their home fans against the Scots at 4:00 p.m. The timing is sure in Edmonds-Woodway's favor as the team sits on four straight wins at home while Shorecrest has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.

On Monday, Edmonds-Woodway didn't have quite enough to beat Arlington and fell 10-8.

Catie Ingalls was cooking despite her team's loss, getting on base in two of her four plate appearances with two runs and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Ellie Alderson, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base.

Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for Shorecrest's offense. They came up short against Shorewood on Monday, falling 12-0. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Scots were not able to get on the board.

Edmonds-Woodway's defeat dropped their record down to 11-5. As for Shorecrest, their loss dropped their record down to 4-10.

Edmonds-Woodway took their win against Shorecrest in their previous meeting last Friday by a conclusive 18-7 score. Do the Warriors have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Scots turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
