Anthem Prep was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .607. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Maryvale Prep only posted a batting average of .267.

The win (which was Anthem Prep's third in a row) raised their record to 14-9. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 19.0 runs over those games.
