After low-scoring totals in their previous nine contest, Toll Gate brought some dynamite into their most recent matchup. They claimed a resounding 42-7 victory over the Tiverton Tigers. The Titans not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since November 7, 2024 (when they won 36-0).

Toll Gate got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Nick Bruner out in front who rushed for 111 yards and a pair of scores, and also threw for 100 yards and one TD while completing 83.3% of his passes. The dominant performance also gave Bruner a new career-high in passer rating (123.6). Geovonie Curtis was another key back, rushing for 104 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only 11 carries.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Toll Gate was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 268 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Toll Gate's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-9. As for Tiverton, their loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-9.

Toll Gate and Tiverton will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Titans see the field they'll take on Pilgrim at 10:00 a.m. on the 27th. As for Tiverton, their break will end when they face Rogers at 10:15 a.m. on the 27th.
