Basketball Recap: Sterling Skates Past Chattanooga with Ease

Sterling had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 24.8 points) and they went ahead and made it six on Friday. They claimed a resounding 67-32 win over the Chattanooga Warriors. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 94th, while the Warriors are ranked 246th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Sterling has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-2 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.2 points per game. As for Chattanooga, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-8.

Sterling has already played their next contest, a 60-44 victory against Big Pasture on the 25th. As for Chattanooga, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 58-46 win against Walters on the 25th.
