After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Rockwall, Reedy was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They skirted past the Wakeland Wolverines 9-7. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Lions as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.
Malaina Boyst looked comfortable as she pitched four innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. What's more, she posted five strikeouts, the most she's had since back in May of 2024.
On the hitting side, Sierra Petersdorf was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. That triple marked the first that she hit this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Mady Kulp, who scored three runs and stole Two bases. while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
