Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Pine Crest walked away with it. They breezed by the North Miami Beach Chargers to the tune of 73-26 on Monday. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten contests by 20 points or more this season.

Pine Crest's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Karl Mullins led the charge by putting up 14 points in addition to eight assists and seven steals. The dominant performance gave Mullins a new career-high in steals. Another player making a difference was Rowan Hoffman, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 14 boards.

Pine Crest smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive boards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as North Miami Beach only pulled down three offensive rebounds.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Pine Crest, bringing their record for this year to 20-5. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 36 points. As for North Miami Beach, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-16 record this season.

Pine Crest will square off against NSU University on Wednesday. One thing working in NSU University's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last eight games. North Miami Beach does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
