Softball Recap: Mandarin Wins Going Away Against Bolles

Mandarin won the last time they faced Bolles and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Mandarin Mustangs blew past the Bolles Bulldogs 12-1. The result was nothing new for the Mustangs, who have now won four matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Ryleigh Booth was a standout: she scored two runs while going 3-for-4. Gracianna Peck-Headley also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

The win got Mandarin back to even at 6-6. As for Bolles, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Mandarin and Bolles could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings. Mandarin (ranked 211th) will meet Atlantic Coast (ranked 28th) at 6:00 p.m. on March 25th. Meanwhile, Bolles will challenge Episcopal School of Jacksonville at 5:00 p.m. on Friday down 315 places (444 vs. 129).
