South Iredell fell victim to Statesville and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Greyhounds. South Iredell were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Statesville earlier this season, when they won 2-1.

South Iredell now has a losing record of 8-9-1. As for Statesville, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-7-5.
