San Clemente barely beat San Juan Hills the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Tritons blew past the Stallions 10-0 on Thursday. Considering the Tritons have won ten games by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Not much got past Luca Cifuentes, who gave up just three hits and racked up nine Ks to keep San Juan Hills off the board. Cifuentes has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 22 consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Peyton Stokes, who fired off two home runs, four runs, and two stolen bases while going 4-for-4. Those two home runs gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Emily Racine, who fired off two home runs and one stolen base while going 3-for-4.

San Clemente pushed their record up to 20-7-1 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.6 runs on average over those games. As for San Juan Hills, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-13.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. San Clemente will take on Trabuco Hills at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for San Juan Hills, they will square off against Beckman at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Patriots will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Stallions surely won't give up without a fight.
