Volleyball Recap: St. Mary's Ryken Knights vs. St. John's Cadets

St. Mary's Ryken lost against St. John back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Knights came up short against the Cadets, falling 3-0. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-19, 25-10.

St. Mary's Ryken's offense was headlined by Camille Munley and Alex Campbell, who picked up eight kills apiece. Campbell really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with nine. Chelsea Don-Simmons controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

St. John's can attribute much of their success to Gabrielle Deutz, who had five aces and two blocks. That's the most aces Deutz has posted since back in October of 2024.
