Basketball Recap: Groves Takes a Loss

Groves was the 43-42 winner over Long County when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Groves Rebels fell just short of the Long County Blue Tide by a score of 59-56 on Tuesday.

Groves dropped their record down to 8-9 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Long County, their victory bumped their record up to 4-11.

Groves didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 58-41 defeat against Liberty County on the 31st. Long County has also already played their next game, a 67-21 loss against Calvary Day on the 31st.
