Baseball Recap: Rim of the World Comes Up Short

Rim of the World lost against Notre Dame on Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Fighting Scots lost 11-1 to the Titans. That's two games in a row now that the Fighting Scots have lost by exactly ten runs.

Rim of the World saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mateo Jurado, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run.

Rim of the World is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-13. The slump could be explained by some tough opposition over that stretch, namely Notre Dame, they, and Arroyo Valley. As for the Titans, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-9.

Coming up, Rim of the World will take on Arroyo Valley at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Fighting Scots' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Hawks have averaged an impressive 7.6 runs per game this season. As for Notre Dame, they have already played their next matchup, a 13-0 victory against Entrepreneur on the 1st.
