Foothill picks up third straight win at home

Recap: Foothill vs. Golden Valley
Foothill has not lost a match since December 9, 2023, a trend which continued in their latest game on Thursday. They didn't even let Golden Valley onto the board and left with a 2-0 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Foothill also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2023.
They were led to victory by the tag-team duo of
Luis Gonzalez and
Jovanny Salazar, who scored.
Foothill pushed their record up to 12-3-3 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 4.0 goals per game. As for Golden Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-5-4.
Foothill will head out on the road to challenge Mira Monte at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Golden Valley, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Del Oro at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Del Oro is coming into the contest on a six-game losing streak.
