Bethel and Spanaway Lake are an even 5-5 against one another since March of 2016, but likely not for long. The Bethel Bison will head out on the road to challenge the Spanaway Lake Sentinels at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Bethel has given up an average of 9.7 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.

Bethel lost 20-7 to Bonney Lake on Tuesday. The Bison haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Spanaway Lake's offense. They came up short against Olympia on Tuesday, falling 25-0.

Bethel's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Spanaway Lake, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Bethel took their victory against Spanaway Lake in their previous matchup back in March of 2021 by a conclusive 13-6. The rematch might be a little tougher for Bethel since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
