Port Washington came tearing into Thursday's contest with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Hartford Orioles. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Pirates also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

While Port Washington might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Hartford scored at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-25, 25-18, 24-26, 25-22.
