Baseball Recap: Eagle Falls Short Against Ranked Owyhee

Eagle faced Owyhee in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Mustangs fell just short of the Storm by a score of 3-2. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Storm this season, with their most recent loss being a 4-3 defeat on Saturday.

Eagle saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Andrew Palfreyman, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

This is the second loss in a row for Eagle and nudges their season record down to 15-13. Those defeats can't be blamed on the team's pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 7 runs in those games. As for Owyhee, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 26-2.

As of now, neither Eagle nor the Storm have any future games scheduled.
