Basketball Recap: Southern Guilford Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Southern Guilford played a tough game on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 64-19 loss at the hands of the Ragsdale Tigers. The Storm have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Ja'Mya Boddie continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Ragsdale, going 6-for-8 from beyond the arc en route to 24 points in addition to seven assists and four steals. Those 24 points gave Boddie a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Marlei Williams, who shot 71% from the field on her way to 13 points.

Southern Guilford's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Ragsdale, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Southern Guilford will welcome Oak Grove at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Ragsdale, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Glenn at 6:00 p.m.
