Volleyball Recap: Van Nuys Takes a Loss

Van Nuys lost against Sherman Oaks CES back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Wolves came up short against the Knights, falling 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-19, 25-19, 25-11.

Sherman Oaks CES found their leader in freshman Mia Tokutake, who had nine kills, four digs, and three aces.

Van Nuys dropped their record down to 0-2 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Sherman Oaks CES, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Van Nuys will welcome East Valley at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Sherman Oaks CES, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Kennedy at 3:30 p.m.
