Basketball Game Preview: Muskego Warriors vs. Arrowhead Warhawks

Muskego hasn't had much luck against Arrowhead recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Muskego Warriors will challenge the Arrowhead Warhawks at 5:30 p.m. Muskego will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak.

Last Friday, Muskego didn't have too much trouble with Waukesha West as they won 55-38. Given the Warriors' advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked eighth, while the Wolverines are ranked 123rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Arrowhead came tearing into Friday's matchup with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13.7 points) and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victor by a 76-53 margin over the Raccoons. The Warhawks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 23 points or more this season.

Muskego pushed their record up to 14-2 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.5 points per game. As for Arrowhead, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-2 record this season.

Muskego beat Arrowhead 64-57 when the teams last played back in December of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Muskego since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
