Basketball Recap: Garfield Takes a Loss

Garfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a hard 72-58 fall against the Ridgefield Memorial Royals. Even if the Boilermakers couldn't come away with the victory, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their offense, which had struggled int the games prior.

Garfield's defeat dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Ridgefield Memorial, their win bumped their record up to 15-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Garfield will face off against Glen Rock at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Ridgefield Memorial, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Park Ridge at 7:00 p.m.
