Warde hadn't done well against Ludlowe recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Warde Mustangs secured a 51-45 W over the Ludlowe Falcons. The win was familiar territory for the Mustangs who have now won six contests in a row.

When it comes to explaining why Ludlowe lost, don't look at Hayden Mcbean. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double on 17 points and 13 rebounds. Mcbean has been hot for a while, having posted nine or more boards the last ten times she's played. Kate Cimador was another key player, putting up 15 points.

Warde's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Ludlowe, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-5.
