Volleyball Recap: Combs Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Combs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the ALA - Gilbert North Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on October 13th.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-16, 25-15.

Chloe Gonzales paced Combs' offense, picking up nine kills. Gonzales got some help from Ambriah Lujan and her ten assists. Ivy Stewart controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Combs' defeat dropped their record down to 10-25. As for ALA - Gilbert North, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 22-15.

Looking ahead, Combs will head out to square off against Eastmark at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. ALA - Gilbert North does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
