Spring Creek is a perfect 10-0 against Lowry since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Spartans will venture away from home to face off against the Buckaroos at 3:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Last Saturday, Spring Creek didn't have quite enough to beat Moapa Valley and fell 7-6. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Lowry's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of North Valleys.

Lowry saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Erick Valencia, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Spring Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Lowry, their loss dropped their record down to 9-8.

Spring Creek beat Lowry 8-4 in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Spartans since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
