Softball Recap: Talladega Comes Up Short

Talladega's tournament run continued when they took on Vincent on Saturday. The Talladega Tigers took an 8-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Vincent Yellow Jackets. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Talladega's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Vincent, their win bumped their record up to 7-4.

Coming up, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Talladega Tigers face off against Wellborn Panthers at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Wellborn has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.79 runs per game on average), something Talladega will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Vincent, they will square off against Childersburg at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Vincent is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.5 runs per game this season.
