Softball Recap: Ashby Comes Up Short

Ashby is still winless after their matchup against Brandon/Evansville on Tuesday, but the team can take solace in the fact it was the closest they've come to winning. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 17-15 heartbreaker at the hands of the Chargers. On the bright side, the 15- run performance marked the Arrows' highest-scoring game to date.

Ashby's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Brandon/Evansville, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Chargers beat Ashby by a score of 6-1 later that day.
