Geraldine made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Ider, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Bulldogs were the clear victors by a 13-1 margin over the Hornets on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won nine games by six runs or more so far this season.

Geraldine has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.6 runs over those games. As for Ider, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 20-7-2 record.

Geraldine wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, an 8-2 victory against Sylvania on the 11th. As for Ider, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 11-0 win against Valley Head on the 11th.
