Danny Jackson posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Friday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, striking out six batters over 4.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and five unearned) runs off four hits (and not a single walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.
