Softball Recap: Neville Takes a Loss

Neville fell victim to Pineville and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Pineville Rebels, falling 16-0. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, the Tigers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Neville has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season. Pineville's win bumped their record up to 15-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Neville will welcome Tioga at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Neville has given up an average of 11.1 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for Pineville, they will be playing at home against Sterlington at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
