It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Sitka had no problem doing just that on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Colony Knights, sneaking past 4-2. The win was nothing new for the Wolves as they're now sitting on 23 straight.

Sitka's victory was their 15th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 26-2-1. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.1 runs over those games. As for Colony, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-9 record this season.

Sitka wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 7-0 victory against Service on the 7th. As for Colony, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 11-6 defeat against Eagle River on the 7th.
