Basketball Recap: Carnegie Takes a Loss

Carnegie was the 44-32 winner over Binger-Oney when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The game between the Carnegie Wildcats and the Binger-Oney Bobcats didn't end well, with the Carnegie Wildcats falling 52-36. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Carnegie still got an impressive performance from Karlee Tohkofper, who went 6 for 14 en route to 17 points. The match was Tohkofper's third in a row with at least 17 points. Adrianna Barco also deserves some recognition as she posted her first block of the season.

Carnegie's loss dropped their record down to 9-14. As for Binger-Oney, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-13.

Carnegie wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 65-60 victory against Verden on the 7th. As for Binger-Oney, they have also already played their next game, a 40-33 defeat against Calumet on the 8th.
