Volleyball Recap: Nease Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Nease was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Bartram Trail Bears. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 3-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Bartram Trail scored at least 11 points in every set. The final score came out to 19-25, 25-19, 25-23, 24-26, 15-11.

Presley Ulmer paced Nease's offense, picking up 11 kills. Ulmer got some help from Ari Ryan and her 30 assists. Sophia Hayes controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Nease's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Bartram Trail, the victory got them back to even at 9-9.

Nease has already played their next contest (against Matanzas), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Bartram Trail, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Paxon School For Advanced Studies on the 3rd.
