Softball Recap: Legacy Lightning vs. Grandview Wolves
Legacy was the 9-7 winner over Grandview when they last played one another back in August of 2019, but their luck changed this time around. The Legacy Lightning fell 6-1 to the Grandview Wolves on Saturday. The Lightning have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Charlie Trujillo was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with a home run.
Legacy's loss dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Grandview, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-5.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Legacy will take on Mead at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Grandview, they will play host again on Wednesday to welcome Cherry Creek, where first pitch is scheduled at 4:30 p.m.
