Menomonee Falls's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They won by a run and slipped past the West Allis Hale Huskies 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Phoenix have posted since May 12, 2025.

Ally Bichler spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on seven hits.

At the plate, Menomonee Falls' victory was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Ella Wagoner, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Menomonee Falls has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-14 record this season. As for West Allis Hale, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Menomonee Falls will challenge Divine Savior Holy Angels at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Divine Savior Holy Angels has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.18 runs per game on average), something Menomonee Falls will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for West Allis Hale, they will take on Hamilton at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Chargers' pitching crew has only allowed 1.2 runs per game this season, so the Huskies' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
