Basketball Recap: West Bend East Starts Season with Defeat at Home

West Bend East unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell 84-73 to the Shorewood Greyhounds on Tuesday.

Despite the loss, West Bend East still got an impressive performance from Aidan Grant, who posted 25 points. Another player making a difference was Austin Cook, who had 14 points.

Coming up, West Bend East will head out on the road to challenge Greendale at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Shorewood, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on West Allis Central at 7:00 p.m. on December 5.
