Basketball Game Preview: Weatherford Eagles vs. Clinton Red Tornadoes

The Weatherford Eagles will square off against the Clinton Red Tornadoes at 8:00 p.m. on Monday. Weatherford is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last 13 games.

Last Friday, everything went Weatherford's way against Blanchard as Weatherford made off with a 64-42 win. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 16 games by 22 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, it's playoff time, and Clinton had no trouble coming through when it counted. They strolled past Tuttle with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 63-47. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Red Tornadoes.

Weatherford's victory was their 20th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 23-1. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 38.8 points. As for Clinton, their win bumped their record up to 8-16.
