Soccer Recap: Buena Vista's Win Ends Three-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Buena Vista barely beat Omaha North the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Bison's defense stepped up to hand the Vikings a 5-0 shutout on Monday. The game was close at halftime, but Buena Vista turned on the heat in the second half with four goals.

Buena Vista's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-7. As for Omaha North, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Buena Vista is set to square off against their familiar foe Omaha Northwest at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Omaha North will challenge rival Papillion-LaVista South at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be Omaha North's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
