Basketball Recap: Deerfield Takes a Loss

Deerfield was the 38-34 winner over Moscow when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Deerfield Spartans fell 35-26 to the Moscow Wildcats on Tuesday. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Deerfield's defeat dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Moscow, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-6.

Deerfield will look to defend their home court on Friday against Syracuse at 6:00 p.m. Syracuse will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Deerfield surely won't give up without a fight. As for Moscow, they will venture away from home to challenge Minneola on Friday.
