After flying high against Oxbridge Academy last Tuesday, King's Academy came back down to earth. The King's Academy Lions fell just short of the Boca Raton Christian Blazers by a score of 6-5 on Tuesday. King's Academy was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Boca Raton Christian apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2017.

King's Academy got a big performance out of Nolan Payne, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Matthew Delvalle, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two RBI and a double.

On Boca Raton Christian's side, Brady Wall was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-4. Wall hasn't dropped below two stolen bases for three straight games.

King's Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Boca Raton Christian, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. King's Academy will take on American Heritage at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. King's Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 6.2 runs per game this season. As for Boca Raton Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against NSU University at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
